ONGOING LIVE PERFORMANCE PROJECT
(email me to book performance)
Glitch is an interactive live performance that ponders futility and pointlessness. The performer engages with the audience through simple day-to-day interactions and appeared-to-be-routine social exchanges, such as waving, shaking hands, hugging, picking up a dropped file, etc. In the middle of each exchange, the performer’s motion gets stuck in a loop, creating a glitch that repeats the same motion over and over. The glitch results in the failure of a supposedly simple and casual human interaction.
